Research Progress of Sb2 (S1-xSex) 3 (0 ≤x ≤1) Thin Film Solar Cells

Abstract: Sb2 (S1-xSex) 3 (0 ≤x ≤ 1) compounds including Sb2Se3,Sb2Se3 and Sb2 (S,Se) 3 have been proposed as as simple,non-toxic,highly earth-abundant and low-cost material with proper band gap (1.1-1.8 eV) and high absorption coefficient (> 105 cm-1),which are promising alternative light absorbers for low-cost and high-efficient thin film solar cells application,and it may be a hot issue in the research of photovoltaic device.In this paper,the development of Sb2Se3,Sb2Se3 and Sb2 (S,Se)3 solar cells are reviewed in recent years,and the future development of Sb2 (S1-x Sex)3-based solar cells is also prospected.
