钒酸钇晶体折射率和折射率温度系数的测定

摘要: 本文报道了钒酸钇(YVO4)晶体主折射率及其温度系数的测量,用自准直法在20~140℃温度范围内测量了这种晶体在488nm、632.8nm、1079.5nm和1341.4nm波长上的折射率,并得到了上述波长上的折射率温度系数和测量温度范围内修正的Sellmeier方程的常数,用得到的Sellmeier常数计算了1064nm波长下 YVO4晶体的双折射率(Δn),计算的Δn=0.2082。结果与文献报道的值相当吻合。

Abstract: The measurement of principal refractive indices and the thermal refractive index coefficients of yttrium vanadate(YVO4)are reported in this paper.The principal refractive indices of the crystal have been measured by selfcollimating method for the wavelenths of 488nm,632.8nm,1079.5nm and 1341.4nm in the temperature range of 20-140℃.The thermal refactive index coefficients have been obtained at these wavelenths and the constants of modified Sellmeier’s equation are also obtained in the measured temperature range.The value of birefringence (Δn) of 1064nm is calculated by Sellmeier’s equation.The calculated value agrees fairly well with the value published in the paper.
