Abstract: The relationship between the surface structure patterns and corresponding orientation of anionic coordination polyhedra in some allomeric crystals is discussed. It is suggested that the surface structure patterns on crystal faces correspond to the appearance of anionic coordination polyhedra on these faces.Allomeric crystals growth exhibit the same configuration, combination fashion and orientation of anionic coordination polyhedra. As a result, they have identical surface structure patterns and similar morphologies.
