Abstract: MgO nanoparticles was prepared by exchange resin homogenous precipitation methods using Mg(NO3)2·6H2O, (NH4)2CO3 and NH3·H2O as raw materials. The MgO nanoparticles was characterized and analyzed by thermo-gravimetric (TC) analysis, infrared (IR) spectrum analysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR TEM), selected area electron diffraction (SAED) and the bet method (BET). The results indicated that the particles a and b calcined at 700 ℃ had a clear crystal lattice and hexagonal shapes with average 25 nm in diameter, the As with 31 m2/g and 32 m2/g, respectively.
