Preparation of X Zeolite by Coal-kaolinite Intercalation Complex and the Position of Potassium

Abstract: X zeolite is a kind of important catalysts that belong to the faujasite structure.It is widely used in the production of petrochemical and adsorbent.However,the price of zeolite by the traditional craft product is expensive.Our country is rich in excellent quality coal-kaolinite.After dealing with the potassium acetate intercalated,the kaolinite-potassium acetate intercalation complex is the ideal material in compounding X zeolite.In this paper,X-ray diffraction (XRD),infrared emission spectroscopy and thermal analysis were applied to characterize the kaolinite-potassium acetate intercalation complex in high temperature roasting.The results show that the best temperature is 800 ℃ and the best concentration is 30; when calcining the intercalated composite generated the X zeolite.Elaborated the mechanism,structure and the position of Potassium ions of kaolinite-potassium acetate intercalation complex compounding the X zeolite.
