Synthesis, Crystal Structure and Thermal Property of a 2D Coordination Polymer [Mn2(bppc)4(H2O)]n·2nH2O

Abstract: A manganese coordination polymer [Mn2(bppc)4(H2O)]n·2nH2O was hydrothermally synthesized by Hbppc with MnCl2 .The coordination polymer was structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction,elemental analyses,IR and TGA.X-ray diffraction analysis of single crystal shows that the coordination polymer is crystallized in Monoclinic system with P2(1)/c space group.The cell parameters are as follows a=10.3918(9) nm, b=24.519(2) nm, c=7.0140(6) nm, β=105.0890(10)°, γ=90°.Each (bppc)-anion coordinates to one MnII atoms are bridged by the nitrogen atoms and carboxylate oxygen atoms of (bppc)-ligands to form a one line-like dimensional chain, and the carboxylate oxygen atoms of (bppc)-ligands further extended the 1D chain into 2D layer structure.Additionally, TGA results indicate it possess great thermal stability.
