Abstract: Solid dendritic and hollow flower-like SrCO3 particles have been synthesized via adding suffactants CTAB and SDBS as chemical additives to regulate the morphology of the crystal. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electronic microscope (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectrograph (FT-IR); the preliminary effect mechanisms of chemical additives to SrCO3 crystal have been discussed chiefly in the end. Results show that CTAB and SDBS could play a significant role in influencing the particles' property, which take an opposite action to the property of the particles'dispersion and the latter has a stronger ability in reducing the surface energy of the (013) and (213) crystal faces than the former.
