Synthesis, Crystal Structure and Fluorescence Properties of Complex [Cu(C7H5N3O2)2·(H2O)2](NO3)2

Abstract: The title complex [Cu(C7H5N3O2)2·(H2O)2](NO3)2 has been synthesized and was characterized by means of elemental analysis,IR,UV-Vis spectra, and X-ray crystallography. The fluorescence property of the title complex was also studied.The results show that crystal belongs to triclinic with space group of Pī. The cell parameters are a=0.72484(11) nm, b=0.81483(12) nm, c=0.92079(14) nm, α=69.425(2) o, β=78.031(2) o , γ=84.955(2) o, Z=1, F(000)=279. The final R1 = 0.0272, wR2 = 0.0715. The complex has noticeable fluorescence intensity in 739 nm under λex=370 nm.
